Easter at Central
SUNDAY, MARCH 31
WORSHIP AT 10:30 A.M. welcoming Ars Nova Brass Quintet, the Central Choir, and a premiere of a new choral piece
CHILDREN AGE BIRTH – 6: Our beautiful nursery is staffed by professional caregivers and full of fun toys and good friends. Childcare is available from 9:30–11:30 a.m. today. Following worship, please join your child upstairs as we prepare to participate in the Egg Hunt. (Since some of the eggs contain smaller items as well as candy, please open them with your child and confirm that they are safe for them.)
GRADES K – 5: Following the Time for Children, children grades K – 5 are invited to go upstairs for a morning of engaging, meaningful learning! The children will wait upstairs after worship while we prepare for the Egg Hunt. They will be released from the upstairs to the sanctuary to find the eggs.
GRADES 6 – 8: Middle Schoolers will stay in the Lifeboat pew (or with their family) today, and immediately after the postlude, gather by the piano in the sanctuary to hide the eggs for the younger children.
If you are new to Central, or have questions about ministry for those under 18, we invite you to reach out to Jennifer Anderson at jennifera@centralforgood.org.
Egg Hunt
Children will be ready for the Egg Hunt upstairs this year (rather than meeting in the Friendship Room) and will be released to the sanctuary as soon as the youth hide the eggs! Please note that there are small objects and candy in the eggs, so parents please supervise small children when opening the eggs. The eggs will only be hidden in the Sanctuary (not balcony), and narthex/hallway around the sanctuary.
Join Us for Lunch!
Central Presbyterian Church welcomes our neighbors and the St. Paul community into our church for a made-from-scratch lunch every Wednesday, prepared by Chef Barb Westman and her team.
Menu for march 27
Italian sausage and kale soup
Carrot and red pepper soup
Garlic bread
Mixed green salad
Soft molasses cookies
Lunch is served each Wednesday from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and is open to everyone. There is a suggested donation of $10 and all who are hungry are invited to eat, regardless of their ability to donate.
We accept credit card donations and offer takeout meals. Simply ask for to-go containers as you enter the line. Love the breads? Most weeks there are extra loaves for a $5 donation- but get there early, they go fast!
